Learn how to make better decisions
Have you ever had doubts about what to do next? I know you have and so has everyone who lives on this planet. Whatever it is, making the right decision is tough, so here are some tips to help you.
Relax
Surprised? Well, don’t be. The truth is, nobody is sure what “right” means. Chances are even you yourself don’t know what is right for you. We want to know the future and the consequences of our decisions, but that’s impossible. So, no matter what you decide, you risk being 50% percent wrong and 50% right.
Think about follow-ups
Alight, maybe you can’t just relax and make your decision. Then think about follow-ups. Nobody can guarantee you what exactly the follow-ups of your decisions will look like but you still can try to envision. As human beings, we tend to wish for an immediate reward, therefore we make decisions based on what and how soon we can get. That’s not always good. Think about follow-up in the long term.
Listen to others but not too much
Sometimes others can give us a good advice but don’t let someone else decide for you only to blame them later. Don’t do that. Just don’t. Be your own person. Take notice of every advice you get but don’t blindly follow them.
Rely on your intuition
Unconsciously, you may already know what you need to choose. Our unconscious mind influences our life more than we realize. So, maybe it would be a good idea just to trust your guts.
But don’t confuse your intuition with fear
Don’t let your fear stop you from trying. Sometimes, we let our fear limit our own life. We make safe decisions because we are too scared to try something new. Overcome your fear and do what you have always wanted to do. Trust me when I tell you that you can do it.
