Interview with Jordan Mangan aka buckethatboyyy

Jordan Mangan is a 16-year-old high school student and newly rising social media influencer. He runs different kinds of social media pages with a variety of followers. He has always been curious about making money off of social media platforms, ranging from Instagram, Snapchat, and Tiktok. In about five months, he has been able to gain over 100,000 followers under the name buckethatboyyy. He is passionate about the business field, as well as the engineering field. From a young age, he liked to build different products that would enhance everyday tasks.

Q: How did you start, and who inspires you?

At a young age, Jordan was inspired by innovating and learning how to build products that could improve the future. He was memorized at all that is able to be accomplished. The entrepreneurs that inspire him include anyone that can build a business from the ground up and make a profit from it. He understands that doing things that you love makes your job that much easier.

Q: How does work ethic affect building up your social media platforms?

“Hard work is the key to success.” He believes that if you work hard, you can accomplish anything. When he first started making Tiktoks, he would make eight to ten every day. Yes, it took hours, but it was for his personal goal of gaining followers quickly. Never give up on your goals because nothing on this earth is impossible. If you get pushed down, keep trying.

Q: How did you gain sponsors?

Gaining sponsors is on a post to post basis. Two words he used to describe gaining sponsors is REACH OUT. If you reach out to sponsors, you are more likely to find one. Email them! The worst they can say is no, and if they say that, find someone else.
